Iced French Toast Latte (No Special Syrups)

Warm cinnamon, real maple syrup, a touch of vanilla that bring all the flavors of French toast. This latte is the perfect blend of sweet, spiced, and creamy. It’s my go-to when I want something a little special that still feels nourishing and homemade.

Ingredients

  • 2 shots Espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee if you don’t have espresso
  • 1 cup 1 cup milk of choice whole, oat, almond, or any milk you love
  • ¾-1 Tbsp Maple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 dash Ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla bean paste or pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Brew your espresso (or strong coffee) and let it cool slightly.
  • In a large glass, add cinnamon, maple syrup, and vanilla bean paste to a glass. Combine by using a small whisk or mini electric frother.
  • Add ice to glass and pour in your milk of choice
  • Pour in espresso and mix quickly with a straw or spoon to help prevent the ice from melting too quickly

Notes

Make it dairy-free: Use oat milk or almond milk for a plant-based version.
Make it hot: Simply warm the milk mixture on the stove before adding espresso.
Add protein: Froth in a scoop of collagen for an energizing boost.
Don’t have vanilla bean paste? Use ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract instead.
